Initially entirely self-funded by Ross, today our not-for-profit organisation benefits from the invaluable support of business, volunteers, fundraisers, and donations.

This incredible generosity allows us to assist anyone who needs aid without judgement — from the homeless and victims of domestic violence to the emotionally troubled and mobility-challenged.
In addition to its direct assistance to the less fortunate — the Ross Hutchison Foundation has partnered with numerous diverse charities — including the Red Cross, Variety Club of Australia, Penrith Community Kitchen, and Barnardo’s.
Under the inspirational guidance of Ross Hutchison and CEO George Mavros, the Foundation strives to make every single minute count — improving the life, happiness, comfort, and peace of all who need it.

The Scope of the Ross Hutchison Foundation
Who We Help
The Ross Hutchison Foundation provides no-strings support to anyone who needs assistance — irrespective of age, gender, race, colour, or sexual orientation. For those who find themselves in the roughest and toughest of times — our Foundation is there to provide financial help, advice, support, and guidance.
Directly, we feed over 100 families a week, provide clothing for the homeless and budget-challenged, and give pre-loved furniture to those in urgent need. Furthermore, our reach is extended through partnering with some incredible charities — such as Relay for Life, Diabetes Australia, NYAS Homeless Youth, and the Red Cross.

Fundraiser Events
Over the past decade, our fundraisers have raised thousands of dollars, allowing us to carry on the vital work of the Ross Hutchison Foundation. With the support of our incredible volunteers, these fundraisers — both one-offs and annual events — have included fetes, dance-offs, horse racing days, and live music nights.
And, they’re a lot of fun! Not only do fundraisers allow like-minded people a chance to get together, but they also provide valuable public exposure for the Foundation and the support and assistance we provide to the local community.

Our crucial work supporting, advising, and assisting the local community would be impossible without the phenomenal generosity of others. At the Foundation, every day we are continually overwhelmed by the love and kindness shown by others to support the less fortunate.

Why Your Support Is So Important
Hundreds of people in the Penrith area and beyond are underprivileged, unsupported, and under-represented. Often with little or no access to governmental assistance, these challenged people can find themselves falling between the cracks — leaving them lost, isolated, and scared.
The Ross Hutchison Foundation strives every day to ensure that no one is left feeling alone or powerless. Without judgement or prejudice, we aim to support anyone who needs our help.
